Community Support
Our Community Support services provide a wide range of support to individuals and families to help them live independently and thrive in their communities. We understand that every person and family has unique needs and challenges, and our services are tailored to meet those needs in a way that is most beneficial for them.
Our services include:
- Assistance with daily living activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
- Support with transportation to appointments, community events, and other activities.
- Help with accessing government benefits and other financial resources.
- Assistance with finding and maintaining employment.
- Support with navigating community resources and services.
- Assistance with managing finances and budgeting.
- Recreational and social activities to promote socialization and community inclusion
- Support for people with disabilities and special needs
- Assistance with language and communication barriers
Respite Services
Our Respite services provide individuals and their families with temporary relief from the daily responsibilities of caring for a loved one. Our goal is to provide a safe and nurturing environment where individuals can receive the care and support they need, while their primary caregivers take a break to rest and recharge.
Our services include:
- Short-term in-home care for individuals with chronic illnesses, disabilities, or other special needs
- Day programs and activities to promote socialization and engagement
- Overnight respite care in a safe and comfortable environment
- Assistance with personal care, such as bathing and dressing
- Assistance with communication
- Recreational and social activities to promote socialization and community inclusion


Supervised access
Our Supervised Access service provides safe and secure environments for children to spend time with their non-custodial parents or other family members.
Our service includes:
- Supervision of visits between children and parents or other family members in a safe and neutral environment
- Professional and trained supervisors to oversee the visits and ensure the safety and well-being of the children
- Support and guidance for parents and other family members to facilitate positive interactions and communication during the visits
- Assistance with transportation to and from the visit
- The possibility of offering remote supervised access service, such as phone and video call visits
Disability Support
Our Disability Support services provide individuals with disabilities the necessary support and resources to live as independently as possible. We work closely with individuals and their families to understand their unique needs and challenges, and to create a support plan that is tailored to their specific circumstances. Our services include, but are not limited to:
- Assistance with daily living activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks
- Support with transportation to appointments, community events, and other activities
- Assistance with managing medications and other healthcare needs
- Support with finding and maintaining employment
- Assistance with navigating government benefits and other financial resources
- Recreational and social activities to promote socialization and community inclusion


Mentoring
Our Mentoring services provide guidance, support and role-modeling to individuals and young people who want to reach their full potential and achieve their goals. Our mentors are trained and experienced professionals who are dedicated to helping mentees develop the skills, knowledge and confidence they need to succeed in life.
Our services include:
- One-on-one mentoring relationships between a mentor and a mentee
- Support in setting and achieving personal and professional goals
- Assistance with developing life skills such as communication, problem solving, decision making and time management
- Help with navigating education and career opportunities
- Mentoring for specific areas of interest such as academic, personal development, and career mentoring
- Support for young people in care or those who have experienced trauma
- Assistance with developing positive relationships and social connections
- Support for young people with disabilities or special needs
Transportation
Our Transportation services for children in care ensure that they have safe and reliable transportation to appointments, school, and other activities. We understand that transportation can be a significant barrier for children in care, and we are committed to providing the necessary support to remove this barrier.
Our services include:
- Safe and reliable transportation to and from school, medical appointments, therapy sessions, and other activities
- Professional and trained drivers who are dedicated to ensuring the safety and well-being of the children
- Assistance with transportation coordination, including scheduling and planning
- Help with finding and utilizing public transportation options when appropriate
- Support for children with special needs, including those who require transportation in wheelchair-accessible vehicles
